This has been requested product for me to review. I have been loving cushion foundation and actually my preferred base makeup than actual foundation. They are really quick to use and convenient when you are on the go because it is very compact. The only problem is that it is hard to find a good match for my skintone. It used to be that they only offer two shades for most of cushion foundations in Korea. But as years go by and Kbeauty world getting well known worldwide, so some brands slowly introducing more shades available in the market now. I admit I still find it too light sometimes even if it is the darkest shade but I also found a brand that suits me perfectly.
I already tried a PONY EFFECT Defense Longwear Cushion Foundation (Sand) before and as what I remember the first cushion that I felt like, it was as close as my actually skintone. This brand is from a popular youtuber and makeup artist from Korea who is Pony. Since she has so much followers, when she launched her makeup, it made buzz and fortunately her products are really good. I only tried her cushions and a concealer. Maybe I will try more in the future but so far I can say her products are really excellent quality and formula.
What I appreciate with her cushion foundation is that it comes with a refill but it is not expensive in comparison with other brands in the market. And with a lot of promotions in yesstyle, I saved a lot when I got it.
I also love the packaging of this brand because they are simple yet chic. Not too playful like other counterpart that they almost look like toys because the packaging are either cartoonish or food related. This is more streamlined and professional which I like. With this cushion, it is more girly than the one I had because this is pink which is very eye catching but not over the top. Still simple yet chic.
I chose the shade 004 Tan because this is the darkest shade and as what I remember the darkest shade which was 25 from her other cushion did match me pretty good. I just love that this is really light weight kind of packaging and you can also use it as a mirror because unlike before which was slight iridescent matte type but now it has like pink chrome effect.

The puff (pic above) is a very soft kind of sponge that is different from the other cushion I tried from this brand. The other one was dark blue and feels much thicker and you almost feel like their is like a gel inside while this is just feels like a flat regular sponge. They make different sorts of applicator depends on the formula of the cushion.
The shade is 004 Tan (sand beige). It is a bit grayish on my face but when I finish my whole make up, it's not that evident anymore. I hope they will release more shades that will fit more a lot of skintone. I really love the finish of this and how it looks on my face. If you want a glowy and fresh look, this is the way to go.
