I just recently knew about this brand since I am into clean beauty nowadays. I love how sleek and simple their packaging of their products are. Even their website, you will see how neat and clean it looks. Uncomplicated makeup is what I think they want to achieve. No hassle, it does not take so much time and effort. Their products speak to me in so many ways. They give me the "less is more" vibe that I have been loving recently. I love that they are clean beauty and how they formulate their products which they only choose the best ingredients that are good for your skin. They are transparent with their ingredients and they list all their ingredients with each product on their website.
I was intrigued first with their Face Oil because I was looking for an everyday tinted moisturizer that does not need sponge or brush to apply since it will just be my lazy days kind of base makeup. I asked someone since she reviewed it before but she told me she does not like it. We have both have dry skin but I think she prefers fuller coverage than me that's why maybe she does not like it. But because I just want sheer to light coverage for my daily wear, that's why I wanted to try tinted moisturizer types of the products. Since, she said it was not good for her, I bought the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40/30 ( ST6 Ora) instead. But after seeing alot of good reviews with this Tinted Face Oil, I decided to still get it anyway since I want more choices with it comes to my base products.

I love how compact and light the packaging of this is. Perfect for travels since it is so slim and light so it won't take up so much space as well. It is somehow modern looking as well and can be classy and sporty at the same time. This is the ideal packaging for the ladies on the go since you can apply it so fast and easy anywhere and anytime.
I love the style of the applicator since this reminds me of a watercolor and also the MAC Face & Body. I love that it just disperse a drop per squeeze of the bottle. Very easy yet fun at the same time. You just need to be careful since it so runny. You need to shake it vigorously or else it would be too dark or result won't be as great when I don't shake it good. I love the noise that it makes when I shake it everytime. It adds an element of playfulness to it.
As you can see it is very runny and once it dropped on my pants, that's why you need to be careful with it or apply it right away to prevent that from happening. But I love this consistency since it is light and feels like just applying a skincare for me. It is not as hydrating as the Ilia but this consistency is perfect for summer days. The smell is herbally as well which does not bother me since it's not an overpowering kind of smell and does not linger all day. You won't not smell it anymore after few minutes on your face.
It dries down to a velvety matte finish. But it still gives me a nice glow like what most of the cushion foundation gives me. It wears off so beautifully that you look flawless and you have the glow from within kind of effect which I am so amazed by with this product.
It can cling to dry patches and fine lines so make sure to scrub your face at least twice a week. It bothers me sometimes to see that it settles on my fine lines especially the side of my mouth so I think this would not be great with matured skins. You can blend it out easily when you notice it with your finger but if you forgot about it, at the end of the day you will see them or noticed them on your fine lines quite a bit. So if you don't like that, then you might not like this product. I will still look for primers that might help to get rid or prevent it.
They key ingredients with this product are nourishing oils which I really feel and see when I apply it. The Rose Hip Seed Oil (brightens): I see the effect right away when I apply it because my face is brighter and more even. The Jojoba Oil (Soothing): which I can feel that it really soothes my face when applied. The Meadowfoam Oil (Plumping): this I can also say that my face looks plumped after I finish my makeup. It is not that hydrating even though it has Avocado Oil (Moisturizing). It just feels like a sunscreen that dries down immediately.
Overall, I love this Tinted Face Oil. It's like skincare meets makeup kind of product. I love how lightweight it is on my face. It covers decently even though it is a light coverage. I don't even need concealer on most days and I prefer it actually without it. I just love the ease and hassle free kind of application because I only need my fingers to apply it. I prefer fingers with my base products nowadays. This is the perfect formula for warmer months and I would surely enjoy this in the coming months. I already used this more now than any base makeup I have. You can layer it how many times and it does not look cakey or heavy at all. I love the shaking and squeezing part when I use it. It's just fun to use. I highly recommend this! I thought I won't like it since someone told me it's not good, but we have different preferences and skin type. So what might not work for others, does not mean won't work for you as well. We just need to try for ourselves and hope for the best. I'm just glad it worked with me.
